Unlicensed, drunk car thief risks life in fast lanes
Berlin, Germany - Police who pulled over a Polish woman for driving on the wrong side of an autobahn found she was not only drunk but that the car was stolen and she didn't have a driving licence.
"I don't think I've ever encountered such an accumulation of traffic offences," said police spokesman Helmuth Klinger.
"Car thieves tend to be a bit more discreet."
The 28-year-old was four times over the alcohol limit when she was stopped on the autobahn - where cars regularly travel at more than 250km/h - between Frankfurt and Wiesbaden after driving for seven kilometres against the traffic. - Reuters
