The first shipment of Chevrolet's mid-size Cruze sedan has arrived in Port Elizabeth for final testing and validation before the South African launch later in 2009.

The Cruze is the first of a new family of Chevrolet "global" cars and will set the style for future Chevs in South Africa.

Chevrolet has shown strong growth since its re-introduction to the South African market in late 2003 and is positioned to be GM’s biggest brand worldwide.
