'WHO YOU GONNA CALL?' TEST BUSTERS!
August 18, 2008
Be patient if you need to phone the management compliance representatives that the city has appointed to help cut booking backlogs at its 16 driving licence test centres.
The representatives are "busy and not at their desks all the time" said media liaison Merle Lourens after an Argus Action reporter could reach only four when she phoned on Friday morning.
Lourens advised the public to "try again later if you don't reach them the first time".
Two representatives were available to take calls when the reporter phoned between 10.50am and 11.30am. During the second round of calls, starting at 11.30am, another two answered their phones.
